The Day That America Died
Billy Garth is a typical High School graduate in the summer of 2016. Interested in earning money to pay off his motorcycle, romancing the gorgeous new girl in town, and having as much fun as he can in the small town of Jenkins, Texas.
But there are other new residents in his little community that are interested in something much more sinister, namely destroying the United States of America, and they aren’t alone. Tens of thousands of members of Isis, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and a myriad of other terrorist organizations have simply walked across our unguarded southern border in the last few years, and spread into every town and city in America. As if that isn’t bad enough, our government has actually invited hundreds of thousands more into the country, disguised as ‘refugees’.
Even after Billy’s fourteen year old sister records a terror cell discussing their ‘mission’, and lamenting the fact that they only have another two weeks to live, traitors within our government not only refused to investigate the plot, but are doing everything in their power to actively assist the plotters.
With the help of one lone FBI Agent, as well as his closest friend, it’s fallen to Billy to uncover the plan, and stop the terrorists from killing millions of innocent Americans.
Only time will tell if this is a story of Fiction, or a Prophesy..

I was not sure how this book would read when I downloaded it. But I am happy to say, I found it an enjoyable action novel whose heroes and heroines were young people. Also Texas, a wonderful 2nd Amendment state, is a great setting for this story. Jenkins reminds me of a couple of Texas towns I had occasion to visit in my working career.The plot involving terrorists just walking over the southern border and setting up shop could certainly happen. Traitors in our federal government helping them is not so far fetched either.I liked the female lead too. Tough and no nonsense about her. The male lead was right in character for a 17 year old. I did find a few misspellings which should have been caught by the proofreader but nothing too outrageous. Great ending IMO.
